CAIRO (AP) ? Egypt's government has sworn in 10 new ministers in a shuffle of the Cabinet aimed at better handling of the country's struggling economy.
The top posts that changed hands on Sunday were the ministers of interior, which handles the police, and finance.
Presidential officials say the portfolios of transportation, electricity and local development are now led by members of President Mohammed Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood group. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.
Morsi met with the new ministers after their swearing in and discussed ways to revive tourism and attract foreign investors.
The shake-up comes as a delegation of International Monetary Fund officials prepares to meet with Egyptian authorities Monday to discuss a $4.8 billion loan and painful economic restructuring.
